The Links Country Club courses were designed by world renowned golf architect, Zane James. The award-winning design features 3 contrasting nine holes of golf; Blue, Green and Black, has given The Links the distinction of being regularly recognized as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the United States.

The majestic, picturesque layout of The Blue is called “A perfect fit of a golf course within the natural beauty of the land on which it sits.” The Blue features fair but challenging Oak and Maple tree lined fairways, with exquisite green complexes that set off the signature characteristic of The Blue — Water. All nine holes feature water presented by Sparkling Lake, the Windstone River and Cricket Creek.

The Green, with its rolling fairways and expansive native grasses and wildflowers, offer golfers a uniquely traditional links style experience. Unguarded from the wind with deep green side bunkers and long run-up, The Green tests every golfer’s abilities. The breathtaking foliage is strategically integrated into play and is the signature feature of The Green.

Legendary, The Black is the most difficult and longest course at The Links. It’s been written that The Black “…is one of the greatest risk-reward nine holes in the country.” The design takes advantage of the significant elevation changes found in the region and showcases the area’s incredible environment. The three Par 3’s feature three different perspectives: one downhill, one uphill and one flat with an island green. The three Par 4’s are differentiated as well. The first is a slight dogleg left running its length alongside Cricket Creek. The second is drivable to a long, narrow green bracketed by sand traps that front thick native grasses. The third Par 4 is longest and goes uphill then down, with the approach shot needing to carry over 140 yards of Sparkling Lake. The three Par 5’s…well, you’ll need to see them for yourself. The last one is the closing hole of The Black and is “one of the finest finishing holes on any course.”

Golfing at The Links is uniquely special and presents something new with every experience.
